Byosphilippines are situated in a very advanced data center at Schiphol-Rijk (Amsterdam) in the Netherlands in Europe. Argeweb owns as one of the very little hosting providers their own suite. It is absolutely impossible that external parties will be able to get close to your server. Security and reliability is absolutely guaranteed in this data center.

RELIABILITY
Ofcourse it is of high importancy that your web server is connected to the Internet 24 hours per day / 365 days per year. Used are Internet sources from several local and international networks. The total available bandwidth is 2.248 Mbps. This bandwidth is used for the hosting network of Argeweb, but ofcourse also for all dedicated and colocated clients. When necessary it is possible to upgrade these connections within one labourday to some Gbps.
Below you will find a schematisch overview of the different IP uplinks of Argeweb.
Further on in the data center there are three big gasoil generators available to take over the complete power circuit of all systems of Argeweb in case a power break down occurs. There are more than 2000 power batteries and a huge amount of big UPS-systems installed to avoid power problems with the switch to the gas oil generators in case of a power break down. Our web servers are absolutely protected!

SECURITY
As we know very well that information on Internet servers could be very sensitive, it is for Byosphilippines very important to create an optimal secure situation for the web servers of our clients. Not only referring to fire safety, but also electronically and optical security is of high importance.
The smoke detectors in the server storage room are combined with an advanced system when in case of fire the server storage room will be foreseen of inergen-gas within 30 seconds. Inergen-gas contains less than 10% oxygen. The fire will be controlled immediately without the use of water to avoid any damage to the server systems.
